Insurance Verification Authorization Specialist- Miller’s is seeking a detail-oriented Verification of Benefits and Authorization Specialist to facilitate insurance verification and obtain authorizations for medical equipment. The role involves ensuring the provision of medically necessary equipment to clients. Candidates should be comfortable with phone communication, multi-tasking, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a Medical office setting preferred.
- Responsibilities & Duties:
- Navigate insurance websites to verify coverage.
- Confirm accurate demographic information.
- Effectively communicate benefit details to our customer services representatives.
- Professionally work with the insurance provider representatives to obtain authorizations.
Must be able to commit to full-time hours (8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday). Hourly wage based on experience, with health benefits and 401K.

Wheelchair Seating Technician- We are seeking a Wheelchair Seating Technician will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to meet the needs of clients that require the use of complex wheelchairs and other mobility equipment. This person will assist our sales staff in fitting, building, and deliver wheelchairs, while ensuring the client’s mobility and seating requirements are fully met. The technician will work together with the client, therapist, ATP, and others on the treatment team to ensure the equipment fully meets the client's medical needs. This highly motivated and organized person would perform inventory management duties in our Akron warehouse. Must be team-oriented and have strong interpersonal communications skills with a focus on developing working relationships with various department personnel. Attention to detail and the ability to adapt to shifting department needs are imperative. Must be able to make independent decisions to coordinate the timely and efficient movement of products throughout the warehouse including the storage and staging of products for delivery to meet company needs. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and have the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
